It theme is Vikings, so I'm creating Viking leader or warrior.
Stay on theme, draw sketch of thumbnails and trim them a little.
Painting it whit amount of reappearances.
Doing while, some objects are made using 3D tools (blender, Zbrush).
It help full making other side views.
Apply the 3D object to the sheet and work on it as dtailely as possible (inside of the cloak, patterns, decorations, etc.)
This is the finalized look.
The inside of the cloak is a personal project, so I left it out.
